The scan moves to where the patient is, not the other way around. The Philips Lumify is a transducer-only ultrasound platform that plugs into an Android or iOS device and delivers diagnostic-grade imaging without a cart, a dedicated workstation, or a fixed room. Clinicians carrying it through an emergency department, a rural clinic, or a patient's home get the same core imaging capability that used to require a machine with wheels. Financing the Lumify, or a fleet of them, fits the same portable logic: the transaction needs to be light, fast, and sized to the actual cost of entry.
Lumify configurations are typically lower-cost than cart-based systems, but multi-probe bundles, software subscriptions, and fleet acquisitions of several units regularly cross the $50,000 minimum we work with. Application-only approval up to roughly $400,000 means a practice acquiring a fleet for multiple providers can move without a full financial documentation package. Most transactions close in one to two weeks.
