Used ultrasound equipment finances every day. The idea that only new equipment qualifies is a myth that benefits equipment manufacturers, not the practices buying systems. A GE Logiq E9 purchased from a clinic that upgraded to an E10, a Philips EPIQ 7 coming off a five-year lease at a hospital system, a Sonosite Edge II that a mobile imaging service is retiring in favor of a wireless probe setup, all of these can be acquired on reasonable financing terms when the asset has the right condition profile. Our program evaluates used ultrasound equipment based on what matters: condition, probe integrity, manufacturer support status, and the practice's financial profile.
Our minimum transaction is $50,000. Most cart-based ultrasound systems from major manufacturers purchased with a compatible probe, plus accessories or a service agreement, clear that threshold even in the used market. Individual portable and handheld systems may require bundling to reach our floor, which practices typically accomplish by purchasing multiple units or including extended service contracts on the same invoice.
